Before you begin, ensure you have the following files downloaded on your computer:



Installing AltServer

  1. Extract the downloaded AltInstaller.zip file.
  2. Run setup.exe to install AltServer.
  3. Ensure that you have installed the non-Microsoft Store versions of iTunes and iCloud.
  4. If you have the Microsoft Store versions installed, uninstall them and reinstall from the links above.


Installing SideStore

  1. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
  2. If prompted, trust your computer on your device.
  3. Launch AltServer.
  4. Hold Shift, click on the AltServer tray icon, and select Sideload .ipa.

  5. Choose the SideStore.ipa file and follow the instructions.
  6. Wait for AltServer to confirm that SideStore is installed.
  7. On your iPhone/iPad, navigate to:
    • Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
    • Approve the Developer App linked to your Apple ID.





Enabling Developer Mode (For iOS/iPadOS 16+)

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Privacy & Security.
  3. Scroll down and toggle Developer Mode on.


Pairing Your Device with JitterbugPair

  1. Extract JitterbugPair.zip.
  2. Ensure your device:
    • Has a passcode set.
    • Is still connected to your computer via USB.

  3. Unlock your device and keep it on the home screen.
  4. In File Explorer, locate and run jitterbugpair.exe.
  5. A pairing file (.mobiledevicepairing) will be generated in the same folder.
    • If no file is created, try running JitterbugPair as an administrator.


  6. Transfer the pairing file to your device using:
    • Google Drive
    • Email
    • Any preferred file-sharing method


Importing the Pairing File

  1. Open the Files app on your device.
  2. Long-press the zipped pairing file and select Uncompress.
  3. Launch the SideStore app.
    • If SideStore is not visible, restart your device.

  4. Select the uncompressed pairing file when prompted.
  5. SideStore is now paired!
    • Note: If you update your iOS version, you will need to repeat the pairing process.
    • To reset the pairing file, tap Reset Pairing File in the SideStore app.


    6. After setting up SideStore, you can set up StosVPN with automatic app refresh and Live container to bypass 3-app limit.




MacOS Installation Guide


Before starting, download the following files on your computer from the download section above. Make sure you’re downloading the files intended for Mac.

  1. AltServer
  2. SideStore.ipa
  3. JitterbugPair


Installing AltServer

  1. Open the AltServer zip file and extract its contents.
  2. Drag AltServer.app to the Applications folder.
  3. Launch AltServer.
    • If you receive a security warning, right-click AltServer.app and select Open.

  1. Connect your device to your computer via USB cable.
  2. If prompted, trust your computer on your device.
  3. Launch AltServer.
  4. Hold the Option key, click on the AltServer icon in the menu bar, and select Sideload .ipa.


  5. Select the SideStore.ipa file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. Wait for AltServer to confirm that SideStore has been installed.
  7. On your iPhone/iPad, navigate to:
    • Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.

  6. Transfer the pairing file to your device using one of the following methods:
    • Google Drive
    • Email
    • Any preferred file-sharing service
