Setting up to install misaka26

  1. Back up your iOS / iPadOS device.
  2. Install the latest version of python3 (python 3.8 or newer).
  3. Disable Find My on the device to use this tool.
  4. You need to extract your MobileGestalt file to use this tool. It can be extracted with the Save MobileGestalt Shortcut.

For macOS: A Mac with macOS 11 or higher


To fix permission issues / "App is Damaged" error on macOS, run:


xattr -c /path/to/misaka.app


For Windows: Windows 10 or newer (+ iTunes)

Use this version of iTunes for misaka26, not the app from Microsoft Store.

misaka26 Guide

To enable tweaks with misaka26 after downloading it, follow these steps:

  1. Use the Shortcut to retrieve the MobileGestalt file from your iOS device and transfer it to your PC.
  2. Launch misaka26 on your PC and connect your device via USB.
  3. Select the saved com.apple.MobileGestalt.plist file to activate tweak options.
  4. Check the boxes for the tweaks you wish to enable.
  5. Click on Apply and wait for the modifications to complete.
  6. Reboot your device to finalize the changes.

To undo the tweaks, click on the Regenerate the MobileGestalt (Reset) button.


Warning: Using misaka26 incorrectly may cause bootloops. Always back up your device before using this tool and use it at your own risk.

misaka26 is one of the customization options available for iOS 16.0 through iOS 26.2 beta 1. Note that iOS 26.2 beta 2 and later versions are not supported. Even if your device doesn't support misaka26, you still have plenty of options to try for yourself.
